We were honored and thrilled Matthew Broderick came to the Playhouse to speak to our students as a Guest Artist on March 10th.
Fun Fact: Patricia Broderick (neé Biow) met Sanford Meisner in, of all places, Las Vegas. He suggested that she attend The Neighborhood Playhouse. Luckily she took his advice because when she came here as a student she met her future husband, actor James Broderick and they were soon married. As board member, Tom Stewart, who moderated the talk commented, “The Neighborhood Playhouse is in Matthew Broderick’s DNA”. Mr. Broderick was starring in The New Group production of "Evening at the Talk House" by Wallace Shawn and we are so very grateful he made time to visit and speak with us while performing eight shows a week.
