Diane Keaton
Diane Keaton, a California native, studied drama at Santa Ana College before transferring to study the Meisner Technique at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in New York. Ms. Keaton’s first major stage role was as ‘Sheila’ in the Broadway musical, Hair, in 1968. Her first major film role was Kay Adams-Corleone in Francis Ford Coppola’s legendary film, The Godfather, in 1972 (Ms. Keaton’s character Kay is present throughout Coppola’s Michael Corleone saga: Godfather: Part II and Godfather: Part III). Her fourth film, Annie Hall, garnered her the Academy Award for Best Actress in 1977 as well as a long working partnership with iconic filmmaker Woody Allen. Ms. Keaton received Academy Award nominations for Redsin 1981 and Marvin’s Room in 1996. Other starring roles include Sleeper, Manhattan, Father of the Bride, Manhattan Murder Mystery, The First Wives Club, The Family Stone, Something’s Gotta Give, The Family Stone, Because I Said So, Mad Money, Morning Glory, Darling Companion, The Big Wedding, & So It Goes.
