Open Houses - join us!

in-person Open House - Thursday, july 13th, 2023 at 6:00pm ET

Join current students, Playhouse faculty and alumni for an evening of informational, hands-on activities where we’ll discuss our Two Year Certificate Acting Program as well as our Six Week Summer Acting Intensive.

  • Introduction 
- Meet the Executive Director and members of the Playhouse faculty for a brief introduction to the school.
  • Workshops 
- Guests will participate in a unique series of hands-on, free workshops including Meisner Technique Acting.
  • Q & A 
- Meet with staff, faculty, and working alumni who will speak about their experience and why they chose to study at the Neighborhood Playhouse.

School Tours

Tours of the school are given by recent alumni and are given on weekdays between 10am-3pm throughout the year. Come to New York City and visit the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre! To set up a tour please call 212.688.3770 or email admissions@neighborhoodplayhouse.org. Reservations in advance are required and walk in/same day tours are not permitted.

COVID-19 POLICY: The Neighborhood Playhouse requires all students and guests attending in-person events and tours to be fully vaccinated with an FDA-authorized or WHO-listed COVID-19 vaccine. All attendees will need to provide both valid identification and proof of vaccination before entering the building. Should local health policy dictate the use of masks indoors, all attendees must wear a mask at all times.
