Alexander Technique -
Jane Kosminsky
B.A., CCNY Dance Award Winner, School of Performing Arts, 1960. Graduate, The American Center for the Alexander Technique. Soloist, Paul Taylor Dance Company, 1965-71. Toured extensively in U.S., Europe, and Asia. Co-Artistic Director of 5 by 2 Plus, a modern dance repertory company, 1972-82. Director of Dance, 92nd Street Y, 1986-88; The Julliard School: Drama Faculty, 1971-86, Dance faculty since 1986; Faculty, The American Center for the Alexander Technique since 1986, Senior Faculty there since 1991. Ms. Kosminsky has produced the first commercial video for the general public about The Alexander Technique. Most recently she has produced a new DVD - For Dancers, The Alexander Technique, that was released in the Spring of 2005.
